USA Journey 2015

After having a long flight from Singapore through Narita Japan, crossing the North Pacific Ocean, flying above Alaska and Canada, I enjoy very much with a lot of Mott's tomato juice and drink enough plain water, to prevent dehydration, decending and final approach Dulles Washington DC, and finally landed safely and softly , thanks God, thanks captain pilot and his crew...thanks United.

Facing a rather long queing immigration, finally allowed to enter USA. A taxi driver with a smartphone on the hand with our pictures was standing at the outside of exit gate. A big Opel SUV was enough to convey some luggages and our self. Express hotel check-in in Hilton Alexandria, went to 27 floor, open the window to enjoy nice blue sky with view to Alexandria forest, and smooth large hotel room. Managing and rearranging all clothes and properly placed, take a shower and napping a little bit to overcome usual jet-lag after long flight with quite significant time

different from home country.

Two and half days CSP Side Meeting and Chemical Security Sector Summit 2015 was successfully attended. I learnt a lot from this first joined conference, how the chemical management to be properly managed for the facility owners and operators.

Following by a meeting with ACC ( American Chemistry Council) in Washington DC, discussing of some important topics in chemicals management.

Back to the Washington Plaza Hotel to take a nap, continued in the evening to explore the beautiful Washington DC (National Mall).

On the Ferry to Liberty Statue

Early morning heading New York by using Amtrak express train to Penn station. Here we are in New York City (NYC) ....Walking out of the Rector subway to Liberty Statue ferry terminal with a blue sky was a bonus. Having a small mirrorless camera and another a bigger DSLR with fish-eye lense on it, and start exploring NYC. We have only a limited time in NYC, so our point of interest destination was also to be carefully decided. Finally we were in Time Square NYC...after using a cab paying 100 USD from Jersey through Lincoln channel, resulted from wrong decision to choose the ferry back from Liberty Statue to Manhattan. Enjoying the day with tuna sandwiches, drink juices and plain water, souvenirs shopping till drop...From Hard Rock Cafe in 7th Avenue, Modells in 42th street and surounding...

At around 21.00, were again at Penn train station heading Washington DC
